== Overview ==
The Resolute-Class Cruiser (designation RCC) is the backbone of the Imperial Republic Navy’s heavy cruiser line — a mainline warship designed for long-duration deployments, multi-theater engagements, and task force command.

At 900 meters in length, the Resolute is one of the largest cruisers in active deployment, boasting heavy shielding, extensive crew capacity, and integrated fleet support systems. With 30 laser cannons, 20 heavy lasers, 30 turbolasers, and 15 missile launchers, the Resolute is more than capable of engaging enemy capital ships while coordinating fighter wings and troop movements.

The ship’s role spans from direct frontline combat to support for planetary invasions, thanks to its complement of 5,000 troopers, 6 ground vehicles, and 4 heavy ground vehicles. It carries 8 squadrons of starfighters and 8 shuttles, supporting both defensive screening and offensive strike packages.

The Resolute is not intended for planetary landing, but it features a large dorsal docking bay and reinforced hull plating for orbital bombardment and standoff engagements.
