Curandero-class Medical Frigate

Overview: The Curandero-class (designation CCMF) is the Imperial Republic’s front-line rapid-response medical frigate. Designed for operations in unstable sectors, it brings critical trauma care and medical support to hot zones where the larger Nightingale-class cruisers cannot operate.

At 400 meters long, the Curandero features full orbital medevac and triage capabilities, compact surgical bays, and quarantine compartments, allowing it to stabilize and evacuate wounded under fire.

Unlike its unarmed civilian counterparts, the Curandero boasts a respectable point-defense and anti-boarding suite: 10 laser cannons, 10 heavy lasers, and 5 turbolasers, with redundant ion weaponry and tractor beams for controlled docking or rescue capture.
