Horus-class Transport Cruiser

Overview
The Horus-class is the largest standardized transport cruiser in the Imperial Republic Navy's logistics fleet. Designed to carry massive cargo loads across interstellar distances, the HCTC serves as a strategic hauler, forward supply vessel, and planetary reinforcement ship.
With a staggering 700,000-ton cargo capacity and 280,000 cubic meters of internal volume, the Horus is capable of resupplying entire sectors, delivering vital ground vehicles, and transporting troops and critical infrastructure between warzones.
Though primarily a logistics vessel, the Horus-class is not without teeth. Its layered hull is reinforced, and it boasts 20 laser cannons, 10 heavy lasers, 10 turbolasers, and 5 missile launchers for anti-pirate and convoy defense.
Equipped with 7 jammers and 7 sensor suites, it maintains a strong electronic defense posture. However, its low sublight speed and lack of planetary landing capability make it reliant on escort fleets and orbital shuttles for operation.
Horus-class vessels are often organized into logistical strike groups, dubbed “Stone Wings,” that follow behind major fleet deployments to reestablish infrastructure, supply forward command bases, or evacuate key assets under fire.
