Peregrine-class Frigate

Overview
The Peregrine-Class Frigate (designation PCF) is the most agile and compact of the Imperial Republic’s frontline frigates, designed for rapid troop delivery, reconnaissance, and precision planetary insertions.
At 400 meters, it is significantly smaller than the Vindicator and Hellfire classes, but its speed and flexibility make it invaluable for tactical operations requiring swift response.
With a modest weapons suite — 20 laser cannons, 20 heavy lasers, and 10 turbolasers — the Peregrine is not intended to dominate in direct combat, but it is more than capable of protecting itself during hit-and-run missions or strike force deployments.
Its high maneuverability, planetary landing capability, and internal capacity for troopers and vehicles allow it to deploy infiltration teams or secure beachheads for larger invasion forces.
Peregrine-class vessels are commonly used by Marine Rapid Response Divisions and Special Operations Command, often deployed from capital ships to strike enemy holdings before main fleets arrive.
Quiet, fast, and precise — the Peregrine is a scalpel where battleships are hammers.
